/why she matters to me

Jules from Euphoria has a chokehold on me and I don't think it's ever letting go. She's the first trans character I've seen who just… exists. No explanations, no lessons. Just a girl figuring herself out, making mistakes, looking incredible while doing it.

I relate to parts of her more than I expected to and honestly she's quietly taught me a lot about accepting myself.

Her style alone is reason enough to watch. And Hunter Schafer plays her so perfectly it doesn't even feel like acting. She just means a lot to me. That's really all there is to it.
